I studied Primary Teaching at Christ College in Melbourne before getting married and moving interstate and purchasing two supermarkets. I was involved with all aspects of the businesses, from working on the floor to book keeping and accounting.
At my children’s schools I did volunteer work – reading in the class room, ran a Garden Club for the children, a Craft Group for parents, and a Learning Assistance Program for students needing support. I was the first female President of the Parents and Friends Group at that school. I also co-ordinated the Parish Fete.
I’m happy to be involved with Balla Balla Community Centre and share my community and business knowledge.
We have a strong, caring and vibrant Committee of Governance, full of exciting ideas to bring together, assist and enrich the community.
