Raju has extensive experience in the community services/development sector in non-profits, community organisations including Community Information and Support Cranbourne and Casey North CISS and currently at a local council (Cardinia Shire). Raju brings his expertise in working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities within the Southeast region. Raju holds a master’s degree in sociology and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from Tribhuvan University (Nepal) and Cert IV in Disability.
Prior to migrating to Australia in 2017, he has had over 12 years experience in Nepal in program/project management on thematic areas of health and nutrition, WASH, disability, child protection and disaster preparedness. Raju lives in the local area with his family.
